Laloe Monteiro has joined Julien Courchet’s team to carry out metabolic measurements using flow metabolomics approaches (Seahorse). She will be involved in the RHU SMART WP 4.4. Her work involves developing standardized protocols and methods for measuring not only glucose metabolism, but also for testing alternative pathways. Laloe will develop protocols for the analysis of mitochondrial functions using the Ouroboros approach. All these functional and calibrated approaches will be used to test mitochondrial activity in cells treated with the hits identified in the RHU project (WP 3.1 and WP 4.1).
