Camille Dauvois, an assistant engineer dedicated to the WP 4.4 “STUDY OF THE CHOSEN LEAD MECHANISM OF ACTION ” of the project will be under the supervision of Vincent Jacquemond. She will perform EC coupling experiments in muscle fibers from the SMA mouse model non treated and treated with the chosen lead to characterize excitation contraction (EC). Indeed, EC contribute in disease muscle phenotype and to address the potential benefit of the chosen lead molecule(s) of interest on the deficient parameters identified in SMA fibers will bring information on the mechanism of action of therapeutic molecules and will provide significant added value to patents and helps to define clinical applications.
