After validating the robustness of the 384-well assay, CYTOO carried out the screening of three chemical libraries from:

• PRESTWICK chemical library (1520 FDA and EMA approved drugs)
• LOPAC chemical library (1280 pharmacologically active componds)
• ENYOPHARMA chemical library (DR: 6 compounds in dose response, Hildegarde: 326 compounds and Mimesis: 10 588 compounds)

 They were able to screen no fewer than 13 720 compounds thanks to a selection of readouts carefully chosen in consultation with the consortium.

• 6 hits were identified for PRESTWICK librairies
• 38 hits for LOPAC,
• 91 hits have been identified for ENYO’s Hildegarde,

A total of 135 hits will be referred to Vincent Gache’s team at PGNM for validation in a secondary screen on differentiated muscle fibers.
