On Thursday, April 30th, Rasha successfully defended her PhD thesis in Neuroscience entitled “Study of the Role of HDAC6 Inhibition in Spinal Muscular Atrophy”, under the supervision of Professor Charbonnier within the Inserm UMR-S 1124 ā Health & Functional Exposomics (HealthFex) unit.
After years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, she brilliantly carried out this ambitious project within the NeMyO Lab – HealthFex team.
Rasha Slika was funded by the RHU SMART program and worked in close collaboration with Alexis Osseni from Laurent Schaeffer’s team (PGNM lab).
